Subsequently was Business Development Director for MB Faber before undertaking BD consultancy roles for James Fisher Nuclear and Ansaldo Nucleare. An extremely confident, competent and innovative engineer by profession, Jim was granted Fellowship to the Institution of Engineering and Technology in 2002. Dr Ian Hudson
Dr Ian Hudson has over 23 years’ experience in both the private and public sectors of the nuclear industry. An experienced senior manager with clear strategic vision and strong commercial experience in delivering challenging projects and business outcomes. This experience includes large scale capital projects, complex nuclear operations, negotiating & managing contracts and business development. This experience has been developed in all aspects of the nuclear fuel cycle and I especially enjoy the challenges of working internationally having worked extensively in the USA and been involved in a number of international collaborations.
In the last 10 years Dr Hudson has worked as Group Vice President within AECOMs Nuclear & Environment Services Group and at NDA was the Programme Director for Sellafield and Director for Engineering & Skills.

Jean Flecher is a graduated engineer in Chemical Engineering. His early career involved a variety of roles in design, development and commissioning of nuclear fuel processing facilities, and also on various non-nuclear engineering projects.
Then Jean moved to the nuclear material transport business as Contract Director in charge of negotiating and implementing transport contracts, among which to be noted the contract with the Japanese Utilities for the transport of MOX fuel from Europe to Japan (in partnership with BNFL).
Until January 2016 Jean was Vice-President with AREVA in charge of developing the UK waste management and decommissioning market, this including the LLWR and Sellafield competitions, the UK New MOX Plant, and a number of Tier 2 projects among which the SDP project. Jean served as Board Director in a number of UK companies and joint ventures.

CPhys MInstP MSaRS
Independent Nuclear Safety Consultant with over 25 years’ experience in the nuclear industry, managing and providing safety cases for a wide variety of clients including Sellafield Ltd; Urenco and LLWR. Experienced Lead INSA Assessor having recently led the INSA of the safety cases for the PFCS Deflector Plate Removal and EDS Assay Suite Throughput Improvement Projects for Sellafield Ltd. Dominic has also chaired the HAZOP for the PFSP Pond Dewatering Project at Sellafield. Prior to that occupied the role of AREVA Safety Case Project Manager for the TMF Project on behalf of Urenco, managing a team of safety assessors to produce the TMF PCSR. Previously employed by Sellafield Ltd with responsibilities including project managing the delivery of the Magnox Sludge Storage Silos (MSSS) Box Encapsulation Plant (BEP) PCSR and the heavily shielded Engineered Product Store 3 PACSR. Previously a Health Physicist and Radiation Protection Advisor at BNFL Springfields (now Westinghouse). Chartered Physicist, Member of the Institute of Physics (CPhys MInstP), Graduate Member of the Society for Radiological Protection, and Member of the Safety and Reliability Society (MSaRS). Member of the World Institute for Nuclear Security (WINS).
